Hi Guys,
I wondered if the quality of your mouse makes a difference to TF2 gameplay. I have a crappy little Kensington £4.99 optical mouse and seem to spend more time looking at the sky and spinning round than killing people.

Any ideas on whats a decent mouse? Bearing in mind I have kids and a wife, so dropping £60 on a new model isn't really and option, lol.

Cheers

No idea what the translations are to US dollars, but the http://www.razerzone.com/p-69-razer-deathadder-gaming-mouse.aspx razer deathadder is what I use, and I lovelovelove it.  But only if you have the money.

If by some chance you stumble upon a ton of money: http://www.razerzone.com/p-198-razer-mamba-wireless-laser-gaming-mouse.aspx
Yeah.......

Mice do make a difference to all games' gameplay, to a certain but noticeable extent.

The MS Intellimouse Optical is five button USB, not expensive, works well enough (lasts long enough). It's my current weapon of choice.

All cypher does is wrenching and humiliating people, he doesn't need a good mouse.

It makes a difference.

So does a good mouse pad, with as much friction as you want.

I'm happy with mine, but they do get rather expensive, so if you want a decent durable mouse just to keep from having to struggle with it, you might wanna try cyphers mouse.

You don't really need a great mouse unless you get srs bout the game.

logitech mx518 is pretty cheap, and it works really well for me. only about £20. And a Razer exactmat mousemat is good too.

I use some random wireless usb mouse. I think it's a logitech. It works great. I sometimes get connection issues but that is because I bumped the usb part or something. Very long battery life.

Don't get a very expensive mouse, they are all the same. Some just look cooler.

Well my optical mouse broke last year and I have been using some 8 year old dell 3 button ball mouse without a mouse pad....

and I am doing fine.

altho my  MS Intellimouse Optical is five button USB was a lot better.
Unless wireless mice have gotten a lot better in recent years I wouldn't recomend them for FPS's

Ouch man, I hate cleaning the rollers on ballmice, the bumpy feel of the mouse when the rollers gets crud on them drives me insane.

I vouch for the MS Intellimouse Optical, I have used it for years for competitive/non competitive gaming.  It's comfortable and most certainly does not break the bank
