Who are (TF2F) PS3?
The group is based on the {TF2F} community clan. This means that we are looking for people who are active members of the forums, post well, and are great team players at TF2. The community of players decides who to add into the group based on a variety of factors, only one of which is pure game skill. If you play with the group often, are involved, and not a complete asshat, with enough time you'll get into the clan as we get to know and like you.
Of course we're gonna have some heavy hitters we count on for pure competitive skill, but hopefully with the community we establish, every member's ability will rise to meet the challenge. It is this community that sets our clan apart and keeps it fun and competitive.
Now with this guiding principle in mind, we are still going to be very individualistic in the criteria that each member is looking for. Some of us will vouch based on game skills solely, others will be very picky about how people post and participate in the forums, this is fine. Some of us will vouch easily for members and others will vouch for nobody who scores less than 50 ppg. This is all fine and part of belonging to our community.
This site mainly supports the TF2F PC servers and the majority of the members here are not on the PS3. Keep this in mind.
This should go without saying but just to make things clear: We play with the utmost respect for one another and our opponents. Absolutely no skywalking or other similar exploits in ranked games. If you do not understand how to play maturely and act somewhat intelligently then this place is not for you.
How do I join?
As a community clan you must be a member of the community. Participate in the forums, throw in a complete sentence of two, and use the search button liberally.
Add your name to the friends thread expressing interested in joining the clan. Tell us a little about yourself and the classes you like to play. Try adding clan members to your PSN friends list. Make sure to mention that you are interested in joining the clan in your PSN message. A few members will probably add you so that you can find us in games (many of us unfortunately are running at the maximum friends cap). We often hold open practice sessions and pick-up-games (PUGs), keep an eye out for these postings.
After getting to know you, if a majority of the clan vouches for you you will be invited into the clan. This process may take a long time and unfortunately some may never be asked to join. Each member has veto power as well so if a single member dissaproves it can hold up your candidacy indefinitely. This is not meant in any way to come accross as elitist. We do not judge members solely on skill. It's all about fitting in with the rest of the community. We like mature players who communicate well and often. Either way we definitely do enjoy playing with all of you and hope to continue to do so in the future.
