It is wierd that even when I update my User CP, my stats don't change much. I kill what, 25 times, refresh my CP and boom, the forum's "statistics" tells me I have 2 more kills. What? Something's not right here. I am updated the part on the CP, but I'm only getting credit for a small portion of my kills (and it's not the server either, I tested it by playing on the server, killing 25 times like I said, then coming back refreshing my page and seeing that this site gives me only 2 kills).

I think its your personal bests that are recorded, not every kill/destruction/etc you make.

Huh? I don't get it. I have definety got at least 31 points in a game, and far more than the "personal best" of this site gives me!

I have had this problem too.  Like even in the achievements. Its a problem with steam and i heard they are gettin lots of complaints.  I had a team that successfully defended dustbowl without giving up a single point, and it didnt register my achievement, so i had to go to an empty server, join red and let the clock run down to get what i deserved.

The stats are pulled from Steam, and I've heard that Steam stats are having some issues right now.  We are looking at a better way of collecting stats, but in the meantime let me know if your stats here don't match your Steam stats.

Um, there is no section on steam where it shows "kills", or most points in a match. I have no idea where this site is pulling it from because there's nothing like that on my steam ID.

Each stat represents your best score for a single 'life' (i.e., spawn to death).  You can find your stats page by going to your Steam community profile page and clicking the 'Team Fortress 2 Stats' link in the upper right.

Also it looks like today Valve may have fixed the issue with the stats collection that people have been complaining about.  We should be seeing some new high scores soon...

For a while Steam was failing to record stats, so probably some if not all of those personal bests were never recorded by Steam.  In addition, many hundreds of players have added their stats over the last few weeks so the competition is fierce, no doubt about it.

We're looking at adding some stats collection for just the TF2F servers, but this was a quick and dirty system we added in the meantime to allow members to compare Steam stats.  Anyone can go into an empty server with a buddy and a lot of free time and break all the records.  Don't take it too seriously, there is nothing stupid about it.
