I used to run at 1280x1024, Native moniter rez. That called what I called, freeze lag, My entire computer would freeze for 1-30 seconds playing the last few sounds over and over and over. Now I run at 1024x768 windowed with everything on high. 30-70FPS

Well, I used to have "high" set for everything, but i went through a sniper phase, so i lowered all my settings for a better framerate. However, the framerate is nearly identical to that of high (around 40fps)! I really need to get around to putting it back to the original settings....

Whether that's the case or not, I've found that, for me, it's a smoother/quicker transition alt-tabbing in windowed mode; It doesn't like to be alt-tabbed while in fullscreen mode, it'll either crash or act up.
